Port Planning : Port & Terminal
The course discusses how to plan and develop a port by emphasizing the importance of principles in port planning, port supply, port demand and port operation. There are discussions are also on port planning at the national level, individual ports as well as at terminal level by focusing on the layout design of a port and port activities. Participants will also learn how to apply the planning process for the layout of a port and development of various type of terminals. In addition to concepts and theories, this course provides ‘best practice’ through discussions of actual case studies on planning and port development in Indonesia and abroad.
